How does electricity get to our homes?

Electricity is generated in power stations or it is produced using renewable sources of energy. Electricity travels along big cables to our homes. Pylons help keep these cables away from people and things on the grown. At the place where electricity enters to our houses there is a fuse box which helps make the electricity safe to use.
